  1. Looking good Alastair. I've producing some documentaries around where I live and learning how to edit the videos online and at my local TV Station. I wish I had a team with me like you as I'm doing everything myself.

    1. Many thanks Greg.  Drop us a line (editor@swl.tv) if you're interested in chatting more or attending our forthcoming "Academy" where we'll be training presenters, crew and editors in the SWL.TV style.  We can also chat about how to build up a team around you – it's hard work being a one man band… that's where most of us started too!

  3. My connection to Alastair is through Cunard Line. He worked as a Cruise Director and I was a Piano Bar Entertainer. I'd love to stop by and take a class however I actually live outside of Minneapolis in the state of Minnesota in the USA. I've been working with my local cable TV access channels on mostly video production. If I lived in London I'd love to attend your Academy and learn how to be a presenter and also an editor. Are you affiliated with anything here in the states, Minneapolis area?

  5. Misleading instructions. TfL are bastards. They purposely do not make things clear with the aim of overcharging people who get caught out. Britain is all about sneaky ways to make money. This is a perfect example. Before you hire, make sure you return it within 30 mins and you will need to dock it and then if you wish to continue for 24 hours, take another bike every half an hr. the first 30 are free. I mean how stupid is that???? In other words, before you hire learn where every damn docking station is guys. It's a bloody stupid system.its designed to catch people out, the instructions are not clear. They are making an absolute fortune as well.they also know this. The scheme has nothing to do with fitness. Like everything in the UK it is designed to make money but in this case, in a dishonest way. There are other videos online showing foreigners caught out with bikes chained up and not being used because people, mainly foreigners, are falsely mislead they have 24 hire. Even locals get caught out. It's 24 hour access, not hire. It is what is making the UK a dreadful country to live in and I hate it and taking action because I'm against scams.

It's no longer Barclays. It's now Santander.
