  3. I wonder what David Chinchen thinks about 15 year old Usher Ricardo Sawyers, who murdered 39 year old Martin Thomas in April 2014 in Wandsworth. I wonder what the victim would have made of David's vaguely alluded to achievements regarding gangs and knives? I believe 2 other teenagers were also involved (13 and 19) and Mr Thomas's iphone was their prize for the killing. Hopefully Mr Thomas took a note of his IMEI number…its a simple thing and the one important piece of "crime prevention" advice that David Chinchen felt worthy of sharing with us.

  5. When Martin Thomas was murdered in Putney, Wandsworth, his murderer and the 2 other teenagers involved were seen loitering nearby, prior to the murder. If you see someone you don't know loitering where they have no business being…call the police. That is one important piece of "crime prevention" advice I would like to impart to the general public.Yesterday I arrived back at my house and saw an unknown male loitering on the street near my front door. I passed by a couple of times but didn't like the look of him, so I went up the road and waited for about 20 minutes. When I returned the unknown male had positioned himself in next doors front porch, I did not feel comfortable going into my house with him there…so I went round the corner and called the police…during the five minutes I was on the phone, the unknown male simply vanished. I checked the surrounding streets while waiting for the police. The police responded very quickly and I was able to get into my house without being potentially ambushed on my doorstep. I also live in Putney, Wandsworth.
